Freedom Ride is a prepaid reduced fare voucher program, which offers a 50% discount from the normal taxicab rate, with a minimum purchase of $25 initially. It is available to ADA eligible passengers who need transportation beyond the traditional ADA paratransit service area and hours or for same-day service. Accessible taxis and the Freedom Ride Program are now available through M7 Taxi.
To use the Freedom Ride Voucher Program, each trip must either BEGIN or END in a town located in the taxi company’s service area:
M7 Taxi: Berlin, Bloomfield, East Hartford, East Windsor, Enfield, Farmington, Hartford, Manchester, New Britain, Newington, Rocky Hill, Simsbury, South Windsor, Vernon, West Hartford, Wethersfield, Windsor and Windsor Locks
