Through the combined efforts of the Federal Transit Administration, Connecticut Department of Transportation, Capital Region Council of Governments and the Greater Hartford Transit District, the Star Shuttle has been placed in operation.

This continuous downtown circulation system offers passengers quick access to venues all across the city and has proven to be very successful.

The attainment of a hydrogen powered fuel cell bus to supplement the existing vehicle fleet is slated for January 1, 2007.

The Star Shuttle is operated by CTTransit.
