Congressmen Oberstar and Larson Visit Union Station

In May 2009, James L. Oberstar, Chairman of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure visited Union Station to be briefed on the proposed New Haven-Hartford-Springfield commuter rail service as well as the New Britain–Hartford Busway  Others in attendance included Congressman John B. Larson, Connecticut Department of Transportation Commissioner Joseph F. Marie, Thomas Maziarz of the Capital Region Council of Governments, and representatives from Amtrak, CTTransit and other key project stakeholders.
