Mr. Jansen called the Meeting of the Personnel Committee of the Greater Hartford Transit District (the "District") to order at 4:05 pm in the District's Multipurpose Room in the Union Station Transportation Center (the "Center"), One Union Place, Hartford, Connecticut. Committee members present were: A. David Giordano, Ferguson R. Jansen, Jr., Frank Lord, Richard F. Messenger and Mr. William Hall.

Mr. Jansen asked if any members of the public would like to be heard.

Upon motion made by Mr. Hall, seconded by Mr. Giordano and approved unanimously, the Meeting continued in Executive Session at 4:07 pm for purposes of discussion of the performance review and compensation of the Executive Director. No votes were taken in the Executive Session except that upon motion made by Mr. Hall, seconded by Mr. Lord and approved unanimously, the Meeting continued in Regular Session at 5:00 pm.

The following recommendation was made by the Personnel Committee to be brought before the full Board of Directors at the Regular Meeting scheduled for June 16, 2011 at 7:00 pm for approval; a motion to concur with the recommendation of the committee regarding the Executive Director’s performance review and compensation. Upon motion made by Mr. Lord and seconded by Mr. Giordano on the same, the motion passed unanimously.

There being no further business brought before the Committee, Mr. Giordano moved that the Meeting be adjourned. Upon seconding by Mr. Lord the motion passed unanimously. The Meeting was adjourned at 5:02 pm.
